I'm Esther Sekiziyivu, a proud mother calling Saratoga Springs home. With experience in education, finance, and faith-based service, I've dedicated my life to empowering families, supporting small businesses, and strengthening our communities.
As a financial educator, author, and grassroots organizer, I've learned that genuine leadership starts with listening and leads to action.
I'm running for City Council because Saratoga Springs is at a crossroads—and how we manage our unprecedented growth will determine whether we preserve what makes our community special.
Our city is growing faster than anywhere else in Utah—adding 2,700 new residents every year. But growth without wisdom threatens everything we love about Saratoga Springs.
My Priorities for Our Community:

Managing our explosive growth to maintain the family-friendly, small-town feeling that drew us all here while ensuring quality development standards.
Infrastructure That Keeps Pace
Fighting for the transportation improvements we need now—not after traffic becomes unbearable. Supporting the Mountain View Corridor extension and better evacuation routes for our safety.
Protecting Our Natural Heritage
Preserving open spaces, wildlife corridors, and access to Utah Lake—the natural beauty that makes Saratoga Springs a place families want to call home.
